Computer Forensics Pricing
A $500 retainer is due upon service contract/agreement. The retainer will be used to pay the final account balance on the final invoice. This expense is related to covering up front costs of:
Travel – $100 per hour, with a maximum of 5 hours per day (plus expenses) for all travel (plus $300 for overnight stay, plus mileage/per diem). Mileage is charged at .60/mile and per diem is based on the current federal per diem rate for the area.
Admin – $100 per hour (plus expenses) portal to portal for all other expenses:
Travel/admin fees will apply after the basic 4-hour minimum is reached in computer forensic cases.
Data/media Storage
Once the data is recovered, or imaged, we will return the original media and a charge of $200 for an external storage to store all recovered data and reports onto. (Unless client provides one)
Computer Repair - Virus/Malware/spyware removal
Pricing for standard Home User services are $50 to $100 max depending on the problem. We will always call and confirm with customer before we proceed. Otherwise, we have a $75/hour rate for all other services.
Data Recovery
Our Standard Priority Service pricing is fair, up front and without hidden fees. We have a Flat Data Recovery Rate Price of a successful recovery of media that is in physically good working condition of $250.00.
The drive or media is almost always evaluated within 24 hours and will be evaluated and recovered as quickly as possible. Usually our basic hard disk data recovery service takes 3-5 days. Expedited Priority service is available for an addition fee of $100.
If we are unable to get data recovered because of physical problems to the media device, we have a contract with an outside source that can do what's called, hardware data recovery. It is a last resort and is more money. I can provide a quote for that as well if it comes to that. We would expect a retainer fee of $400 and maximum of $2000 to attempt a recovery of your data.

- Dissemination/explanation of findings
- Report preparation
Extra Charges will be assesed for the following (With constant communications beforehand) - Deep searching/Forensic analysis
- Client/attorney consultation (after initial)
- Trial or testimony preparation
